Overview of our Ministry in Slovakia
We are privileged to be a part of the ministry in Slovakia and are excited that we can devote our full time to developing leaders to reach students (the future leaders of Slovakia), athletes and others for Christ. Our ministry focuses on developing leaders to share the Gospel, make disciples and prepare them to serve wherever God calls them in life.
Why this is such a great investment in the Lord’s work:
1. Campus Crusade is the only ministry in Slovakia doing initiative evangelism with university students and athletes.
2. God is using our ministry to raise up and develop leaders for the Body of Christ in Slovakia. By joining with us, you are helping meet the crucial need of raising up leaders.
3. Our ministry makes a huge contribution to local churches. Many of our student disciples have become leaders in local churches - leaders these churches otherwise would not have.
4. Campus Crusade has a proven track record of effective ministry in Slovakia since the 1980’s, going back to before the fall of communism!
5. We will send you a newsletter every six weeks reporting on our ministry activities and current prayer requests. This way you can know on a regular basis not only what to be praying about, but also how your investment is changing people’s lives.

Fellowship and Encouragement…
The time spent with people from Campus Crusade for Christ encouraged me in my faith. I liked the study of Romans and the Men’s weekend. CCC gave me exactly what I needed: fellowship and encouragement in faith. I would like to continue being involved in the ministry in the future as well.

Eternal Life in Christ…
One summer, I met people from Campus Crusade for Christ for the first time. It changed my life completely. I was an unbeliever and I considered Christianity a useless tradition. In an English Camp my tutor explained to me what the basis of Christianity was. I decided to receive Jesus in my life, which was one of the most important decisions in my life. CCC staff helped me grow in my relationship with Christ and I learned a lot during our Bible studies. I thank God for bringing these people into my life.

A Changed Life…
My first encounter with CCC happened by chance last semester. It was Wednesday and I was going to meet my friends. However, I walked in the wrong room – to a CCC event where they were watching a movie. Meeting some of the staff was just what I longed for. I decided to open my heart to Jesus. I had heard of Jesus before, but I didn't walk with Him and I never had the power to make any changes in my life. The Lord found me and used these people, for which I am really grateful to Him.

Ministry With Young People…
God uses CCC in my life intensively. Some of the best talks I’ve ever heard that changed my life were at the weekly meetings of CCC. There, God gave me many opportunities to talk with students about Jesus and I realized it isn’t as hard as it seems to be. CCC staff are living testimonies of the fact that God uses missionaries to spread the gospel wherever they minister.
